English studies is the study of the literature and culture of Great Britain and Ireland. One of the fundamental goals of English studies is to impart methodological competence in dealing with texts, a skill that is the basis for success in any field of work. This degree is internationally recognized and qualifies students for an Advanced Master degree. After successfully completing studies, there are numerous opportunities for students to contribute the skills they have acquired, such as critical text analysis and high communication skills, to the market, which is shaped by companies in the media and information society. The programme consists of a core with 7 modules and a minor with 8 modules as part of programme structure.
