Two-subject Bachelor degree is a polyvalent study for a subject-specific or for a teaching degree at grammar schools/comprehensive schools or for two general subjects at vocational colleges. In the two-subject Bachelor degree (ZFB), two subjects must be chosen, both subjects are studied to the same extent. After successful completion of the course, the academic degree Bachelor of Arts is awarded, in the case of studying two scientific subjects the Bachelor of Science.

Minimum requirement includes a relevant Bachelor degree at a German university with a minimum standard period of study of at least six semesters.

A relevant Bachelor degree is a degree which a study of any subject/area of learning within the intended Master program, a study of educational sciences, an orientation internship or a school-based or non-school-based professional field internship.
