Course Details

The Bachelor degree in English aims to provide a solid basic education in linguistics and literature as well as the acquisition of a German-French double degree (Bachelor of Education and Licence). The main idea is to impart methodological skills and historical knowledge, theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This degree in English, consisting of the specific sub-areas American Studies, Culture Studies and English Linguistics, offers students the opportunity to acquire literary, linguistic and cultural knowledge in two university systems, to deepen them and to reflect on the respective perspective. This degree programme consists of study in JGU and at the partner university in Dijon. The course concludes with both a German and a French university degree (License).
