The Master programme in European Master in Lexicography (EMLex) is an international course of studies that promotes the international and interdisciplinary training of lexicographers (unique in Germany and Europe in Its present structure), teaches lexicographical theories on a high international level, includes a distinct connection to the practical application of dictionary creation and brings together students from different European countries. Programme includes a joint summer semester abroad for all students in cooperation with the partner universities and institutions.

Minimum requirement includes a Higher Educational Institution (HEI) degree in one of the following fields: (Computational/Applied) Linguistics, (Foreign) Languages, Translation, Communication/Media, Book Studies/Library and Information Science or other relevant discipline, which is subject to the consent of and the approval by the Consortium admission committee.

Applicants may be interviewed via video or phone conference.
