The objective of the English-language Functional Materials Master program is a research-oriented education in the field of modern functional materials, which are becoming increasingly important in the engineered world. The program focuses on the working mechanisms of modern functional materials and provides an education with respect to their manufacturing, processing and characterization. The program qualifies students for work both in basic research in public and private research institutions as well as in applied research and development in industry, in the fields of nanotechnology, chemistry, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.

The Semester contributions totalling 354.17 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student union fee 90.50 EUR, Student Body fee 14.00 EUR, Semester ticket fee 199.67 EUR and Administrative fee 50 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in science or engineering or discipline-relevant program.
Participation in Eligibility assessment process.
Cambridge PET, FCE, BEC, ILEC, ICFE; UNIcert II, Cambridge IGCSE with level B2, are accepted proof of language proficiency
