The Master programme in Geoinformatics introduces students to scientific work. The aim of this degree programme is the intelligent processing of geographical information in the context of geographical issues. This includes the development of computer-aided methods for geodata analysis - from data acquisition and storage, processing, data enrichment to Advanced explorative visualisation and cartographic communication. The acquired knowledge and Competencies are also to be applied in projects before the degree programme is completed.

The Semester contributions totaling 114.85 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Studentenwerk 52.00 EUR and Semester ticket 62.85 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in Geoinformatics with a minor in geoinformatics of at least 20 CP,Computer science with geography of at least 12 CP, or related courses (e.g. cartography, geomatics and geodesy) with knowledge of a modern programming language (e.g. Java, Scala or C
).
Documents must be translated in English or german
Applicants from China, Vietnam, India and Mongolia require original APS certificate
If applicable, proof of practical experience with applications of geoinformatics, evidence of programming languages can be used as supporting documents for admission
