The programme addresses the growing importance of human rights in all areas of society and academia, covering fundamental challenges as well as current issues. Graduates will be equipped with theoretical and practical skills to pursue professional activities in human rights contexts such as in public administration, international and non-governmental organisations, academia and education, the media, interest groups and associations, as well as in specialised law firms and corporations.

The semester fee of 114 EUR consists of student union fee 42 EUR and Semester ticket 72 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree with at least 210 ECTS or equivalent.
Bachelor degree taught exclusively in English, UNIcert III, Cambridge CAE and BEC ; GMAT with 570 points, TELC English C1 (Business and University); LCCI Examinations Board with Level 3 grades “Merit” and “Distinction” + Level 4 grades “Pass” is also accepted as proof of language proficiency
A short application essay (appr. 1–3 pages) with questions such as What is the relevance of your professional and/or voluntary experience specifically to the field of human rights, Describe a specific instance of a human rights violation and explain why you think this constitutes a human rights violation, What do you think is the biggest human rights issue in your country; is required for admission
