The course hydrogen technologies focuses on technologies that are necessary for the implementation of a future hydrogen economy. These involve technologies for the production, storage and transportation of hydrogen and Its use in different sectors and industries. A special focus is on technologies for the use of hydrogen in energy-intensive industries, such as steel and cement production or the chemical industry. In addition, the programme addresses topics such as innovation management, the economic evaluation of different technologies and the holistic analysis of complex hydrogen compound systems.

Minimum admission requirements includes a Bachelor degree in the natural sciences or engineering field, such as Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Process Automation Systems, Environmental Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Technology, Physics, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification with overall grade of good.
Native English speakers are not required to submit proof of English language skills
A grade of at least good in the Technical English module or a comparable English module from a previous degree or school qualification can be used as proof of language proficiency
OSD certificate of level A2 can be used as proof of language proficiency
Documents must be translated to German or English
Proof of change of name (e.g. marriage certificate) can be used as supporting document for admission
