Course Details

The objective of the degree course Intercultural Theology, Migration and Global Cooperation (ITMGC) is to impart sound academic knowledge about the diverse and varying models of Christianity and other religious traditions worldwide. Students learn to analyse the current challenges confronting religious communities in the wake of globalisation and migration, e.g. the interaction of different cultures and religious traditions. They develop their intercultural communication skills as well as their theological and interfaith leadership and organization skills.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes a a higher education entrance qualification for a higher education institution in Lower Saxony, i.e. a) a certificate of aptitude for specialized short-course higher education or b) a general university entrance qualification or c) a university entrance qualification restricted to particular subjects. Applicants with an equivalent school leaving certificate or vocational training with at least 3 years work experience in an area related to the BA degree, will also be considered.

Furthermore, applicants must pass a compulsory admission interview, carried out by the FIT, before they can be accepted.
