Advanced Architecture

The Master program Architectural and Cultural Heritage focus on the need for preservation, conservation, and rehabilitation of heritage sites​ is not new, however, working as an expert in the restoration sector is a relatively young specialization in architecture worldwide. In the changing scenario of uncertainty in the world, enhanced efforts to preserve the cultural and architectural heritage for the next generation are required. The Master Program 'Architectural and Cultural Heritage' is the formal teaching approach in this area. We endeavor to develop new knowledge, raise new questions based on the changing contexts, while at the same time equip ourselves with the best practices in the sector of Building Restoration. Our program is an amalgamation of Theory, Design, and Research and is closely connected with the region's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the State ​Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments in Saxony-Anhalt, and the State Archives in Saxony-Anhalt.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Native English speakers or those who have completed their last Qualification (e.g. Bachelor, Master) with English as the Language of Instruction do not need to furnish earlier mentioned certificates and submit instead documents issued from the former University that stating the same

Based on the latest theoretical concepts of business administration it aims to equip students with the key business skills to work successfully in an international business environment

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The semester contribution consist of social service contribution for the Studentenwerk Bonn 100.00 EUR, Semester ticket (VRS) 142.90 EUR, NRW-Ticket 57.40 EUR and Student's Union fee 15.30 EUR
