The Master in International Management course integrates Bachelor’s degree graduates into teams communicating on the basis of shared linguistic, mathematical, and computer-based skills. Minimum requirement includes first academic degree in general business administration, engineering, in particular civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, or related professional fields and proof of 210 ECTS and an overall grade of at least 2.0.
If the number of 210 credits cannot be proven, a further 30 credits must be acquired through the compulsory electives offered in the degree program or comparable study and examination achievements. The examination board decides on the selection of the elective modules to be taken based on the applicant's suggestion.
Applicants with a first academic degree from a recognized university in a member state of the European Union with an overall grade of less than 2.0 but at least 2.5 and who have the required English language skills can take part in a selection process. In these cases, a minimum score of 5 points must be achieved based on the following selection criteria: 1. the overall grade of the first academic degree and 2. special aptitude. If no evidence of the criteria is submitted, no points will be awarded.
Applicants who have a first academic degree from a recognized foreign university in a country that is not a member of the European Union must prove their suitability for a Master degree in the European Union: 1. The test for foreign students (TestAS) for economics is in English language. The following results are to be achieved: A standard value of at least 111 in the core module or in one of the two subject-specific test modules, and at least 101 in the other two test modules. 2. The applicants have to achieve a minimum score of 5 points according to Annexes 1 and 2. 3. If these criteria are not met, admission is to be refused. If the overall grade is worse than 2.5, admission will not be granted.
Linguistic competence at the European Union level A2 or higher in any of the following foreign languages; any official languages of the European Union (except English), Hindi, Japanese, standard Cantonese, Korean, Modern Standard Chinese, or Russian. These languages do not count if they are officially used in your home country
Applicants must provide evidence of at least three years of professional training in a field relevant to international management
At least 6 months of international experience through a study abroad experience as an exchange student during the bachelor's degree program or as a full-time employee after graduation, award of a recognized scholarship, at least 3 months of volunteer (non-commercial) work with a reputable charitable or other non-profit organization
