Master program in Process Engineering (MPE) equips students with Advanced knowledge in chemical and thermal process engineering, biotechnology or food technology. Additionally, they receive training in the intercultural competencies that are essential qualifications in process engineering increasingly multicultural environment.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The degree programme is divided into two parts: basic studies (taught in English) lasting three semesters with a common first semester, and main studies (taught in German) from the fourth semester onwards

International Master degree in Educational Quality in Developing Countries (IMPEQ) was developed to respond to the skills shortage related to the development of educational quality in developing countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. The aim of the program is to provide people in management positions in the education systems with in-depth knowledge and management skills in order to bring about changes in their education systems and to design, influence, control and evaluate reform processes in their systems. In addition, the program promotes the development of qualified research capacities that can support the development of educational quality in the respective countries. The program was developed in close collaboration with sub-Saharan African education experts and development cooperation to offer a program that meets the needs of those working in the education sector in developing countries.
IMPEQ is a blended learning programme, which combines periods of attendance in Bamberg, Germany and Butare, Rwanda, with online mentoring and self-study. Students are able to continue their employment while studying in the programme.

The mission of the International in Forest Ecosystem Management (BSc.) Bachelor programme is to train experts who are able to understand the Earth's forests as ecosystems and to conserve and manage them according to the principles of sustainable forest management (ecosystem approach). The graduates should contribute to the implementation of international decisions and conventions for the protection and sustainable use of the Earth's natural resources through their acquired knowledge, management skills and experience abroad.

Modules are partly conducted in English (60-70%) and German (30-40%) language

International Forest Ecosystem Management

The Master degree programme in International Project Engineering ideally prepares students for technical projects in the international arena. In addition to problem-solving and methodological skills in the fields of economics and engineering, you will also acquire key engineering, key qualifications for working in an international international environment.

The Master degree program in IPE requires both Advanced German and English language skills. The majority of the compulsory business, leadership and communication skills courses are taught in English, while most of the electives, mostly technical courses, are taught in German or English. In addition, it is possible to complete the Master thesis and projects in English.

The Semester contributions totaling 162.50 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administrative fee 70.00 EUR and student union fee 92.50 EUR

The proof of language proficiency does not apply if courses and examinations in English amounting to at least 15 ECTS have been successfully completed in the undergraduate university studies

 The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) is Germany's first higher education institution to combine academic studies with on-the-job training. DHBW was founded on March 1, 2009, and its origins can be traced back to the Berufsakademie Baden-Wurttemberg. Today, the university continues the tradition of phenomenally successful and cooperative education.
