The Intercultural Conflict Management Master programme revolves around the premise that social conflicts materialize in the space of manifold interrelated social worlds. Accordingly  social conflicts never correspond with the space of one particular social world  but they represent an overarching continuum which stretches out over the space of several intermingled social worlds. For this reason  the programme is structured into four interrelated Area of studies which break down social conflicts from distinct but intertwined perspectives  in order to bring forward social actions aimed at the participatory resolution of conflicts: A “Social World and Power Relations”  B “Research  Action  and Networking”  C “Specialization Seminars and Workshops”  and D “Thesis and Colloquia”.These four Area of study are not to be conceptualized as accumulative elements  but they are inherently correlated and come about in parallel from the beginning up to the end of the programme.
The M.A. programme will be of most interest to individuals who are professionally active or have an academic interest in environments characterised by cultural diversity and conflict. These elements are frequently encountered in multi-ethnic contexts where competing group interests exist and where individuals have regulatory/control responsibilities requiring additional intercultural competence and mediation abilities.

On the basis of research-based learning  experienced trainers from the private sector provide you with the necessary practical orientation. The course content prepares you for positions with leadership responsibility in marketing or sales  human resources  investment banking  accounting  logistics and supply chain management  consulting or the administration.  You learn both professional and soft skills systematically through group work and discussion in seminars and workshops. Since many of your fellow students come from different countries and 90% of the teaching staff at IGC has an international background  your intercultural skills are practiced intensively over the entire program. The Master program Creative Technologies combines audio-visual media technologies and software development studies with an artistic-creative exploration of novel forms of expression in film and digital media art. Creative-artistic computer scientists as well as technically oriented media designer come together in the context of the Film University to experiment with technology  creativity and film with an interdisciplinary approach.

Focus are all mechanisms that contribute to the magic of movies: from graphics  sound and visual effects over traditional production processes to novel forms of storytelling in XR (Virtual Reality  Mixed Reality  Augmented Reality)  cross-media  and interactive.

This consecutive degree programme provides Its students with broad foundation in the principles of Business Administration with an international and application oriented Global Supply Chain and Operations Management approach. Building on and extending Bachelor’s level knowledge and experience, it provides students with the opportunity to work independently to develop an innovative problem-solving approach. The course teaches analytic skills, the development of goal-oriented operative and strategic measures and their implementation in new and broad based contexts.

The Master Programme Professional IT Business and digitization provides in depth knowledge in the field of enterprise information technology. It contains a unique combination of in IT skills and economic aspects . The programme is aimed at people already working in the IT field as well as graduates of applied computer science and similar disciplines.

The semester contribution 310 EUR includes a 6-month Berlin public transport ticket

Proof of study in a university level programme conducted in English for at least one year can be used as proof of English proficiency

The aim of cognitive science is to research cognitive abilities such as perception, thinking, planning, learning, speaking and acting. it is about the explanation of human language and nonverbal behavior, the formation of artificial intelligent systems and the investigation of perception and motor skills. Methodologically, a field of tension is thus defined that ranges from mathematical methods to psychological and neuroscientific experiments to computer models of mental processes and philosophical reflection.

German citizens in possession of German certification (Abitur) may apply directly using the Osnabrück University Online Portal. This is also the case for international applicants in possession of German certification, For international applicants with overseas certification, different conditions may apply. Master in English Language and Linguistics focuses on the structure, use and variability of the English language, emphasising present-day English but including the essential stages in the historical development of the language. A major role will be played by the use of digitised language-corpora for linguistic description, reflecting Freiburg's position as a leading international centre in corpus-linguistic research.

English Language and Linguistics

University of Freiburg

MA programme in Multilingualism allows students to strengthen their background in theoretical linguistics, especially as applied to current research on multilingualism. It typically includes training in research methods (including data management, visualization, and statistics) and offers opportunities to conduct experimental research, with access to research labs in Konstanz. Students also have the chance to learn about multilingual teaching and to engage in interdisciplinary work with related disciplines, such as Political Science, Sociology and Psychology. 

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Master degree in Digital Factory and Operational Excellence deals with fundamental analysis and design options in production, logistics and the entire supply chain. Systems Engineering and Management - Focus on Electrical Engineering

Ulm University of Applied Sciences

Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Data Science combines two exciting disciplines: Business Administration and IT. With comprehensive knowledge of methods for intelligent data retrieval and analysis as well as for management consulting and analysis, you will meet the requirements of a big data specialist.
Course is also available in Fast Track basis. Under fast track basis, semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your Master degree in only 3 semesters with 90 ECTS.
Note: In Business Intelligence you have the possibility to complete an international double degree. In addition to the Master degree at ISM, you will also be awarded a second, internationally recognized Master degree. In some cases, this is even possible within the framework of the integrated semester abroad, whereby you receive two Master degrees in two or two and a half years.

Students from EU and EWR have to pay an enrollment fee of 600 EUR and Non-EU-students have to pay 1500 EUR

The course aims to research, develop and implement quantum technologies. Students can set individual priorities for a more theoretical, experimental or applied profile.

Saarland University

The International War Studies degree program examines the causes, dynamics and contexts of violent conflicts at a national and international level, as well as their pre-history, course of events, and consequences. The program focuses primarily on military history, the cultural history of political violence, and military sociology, with each field’s respective methodologies and theories. Students will acquire abilities and competencies that enable them to analyze historical and current conflicts. They will deepen and expand their subject-specific competencies to include essential content from military sociology, the history of violence, and military history.  Opportunities abound in International Organizations and NGOs, in academia, the media, fields related to politics and policy, think tanks, museums, foundations and cultural management and communications.
