The Master in Iranian and Persianate Studies is a consecutive degree program that builds on the respective Bachelor programs and provides deeper knowledge of the history, society, language and culture of the countries and regions of the Persianate world and Iran. The degree in Iranian and Persianate Studies qualifies graduates for an academic career, for occupations in research and cultural institutions, in adult education, with international organizations, in intercultural advisory work, in tourism, as translators or in social work and migration assistance.
