The Media Architecture study programme offers in the first instance a well-grounded further education qualification for contemporary media- and architecture-related vocations. At the same time it provides a place of experimentation  a kind of laboratory or meeting place for areas of joint research and new fields of work whose forms of expression transcend disciplinary boundaries. The core element of the study programme is the project module which  through intensive ongoing supervision and experimental exploration  provides an opportunity to develop exemplary responses to issues that are currently unresolved. Media architecture

The MA Solo Dance Authorship (SODA) is a practice led Master degree that explores body and movement based performative practice within a two year  full time program focusing on students individual trajectory. International Master degree in Educational Quality in Developing Countries (IMPEQ) was developed to respond to the skills shortage related to the development of educational quality in developing countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. The aim of the program is to provide people in management positions in the education systems with in-depth knowledge and management skills in order to bring about changes in their education systems and to design, influence, control and evaluate reform processes in their systems. In addition, the program promotes the development of qualified research capacities that can support the development of educational quality in the respective countries. IMPEQ is a blended learning programme, which combines periods of attendance in Bamberg, Germany and Butare, Rwanda, with online mentoring and self-study. Students are able to continue their employment while studying in the programme.
