Master in Mechatronics connects and fuse the disciplines of mechanical, electrical and control engineering as well as computer science is the core competence of modern engineering and especially mechatronics. You gain a broad domain knowledge, learn across disciplines and get to know state of the art and current research problems. This enables you to take a holistic view of the technical systems of tomorrow and contribute in realizing them. Note: There is a chance for top scorer to earn the degree of an MBA at our NIT.

The Semester contributions totaling 338.80 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student self-administration (AStA) fee 18.40 EUR, Student Union fee 85.00 EUR, Semester Ticket fee 182.40 EUR, Semester Ticket hardship fee 3.00 EUR and Administration fee 50 EUR
Minimum requirement includes Bachelor or equivalent degree in mechatronics engineering or mechanical engineering with at least 30 CP in Mathematics, 21 CP in Mechanics, 6 CP in Control Theory, 6 CP in Fundamentals of Mechatronics Engineering, and 48 CP in Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering and must show a very good previous academic performance.
Applicants should have 30 CP worth of courses covering fundamental mathematics - the equivalent of one semester. Additionally, profound knowledge in engineering mechanics as well as control theory and fundamentals of mechatronics.
Following test results can serve as proof of English proficiency: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or UNIcert Level III
The Master degree courses in Mechatronics is partly taught in German. For this courses a basic knowledge of German is strongly recommended. Anyhow a formal proof of German is not required for the application
