The goal of this Master programme is to deepen the students knowledge specifically in selected areas. The subject content is closely related to the material science aspects of nanotechnology and other related subjects. The curriculum consists of five compulsory nanotechnology modules and two elective modules in natural sciences and technology. The overall structure of the program provides students with broad career opportunities in international industry and academia.

The semester fee of 117.50 EUR consist of Student Service fee and the contribution for the semester ticket
Minimum entry requirements include a subject-specific Bachelor degree with 10 ECTS credits in mathematics, 20 ECTS credits in physics and chemistry, 10 ECTS credits in lab work and IT, and 20 ECTS credits in fundamentals of materials science, with overall grade of 2.50 (Good) or 2.9 in the compulsory modules B9, B10 and B11 of the Bachelor degree course “Materialwissenschaft und Werkstofftechnik” (MWT).
FAU Bachelor student of Materials Science or Nanotechnology need to have achieved 140 ECTS in fully completed modules by the time of your application for admission.
Successful completion of Admission Interview and qualification assessment test.
Proof does not have to be provided if the university entrance qualification or the relevant first professional qualification was acquired in English
