With the English-language Master degree program ethnology,students will deepen their professional understanding and academic skills. The Master is research-oriented and emphasizes working on your own research project.

Students can take both English and German-language courses in the elective area if they are interested.

Ethnology

Leipzig University

In the Master program "Mathematical Physics" students will learn the general principles of mathematical physics and acquire in-depth knowledge of selected topics. You will learn to conduct independent research under the guidance of a professor or experienced scientist, to become part of a research group and to contribute to current research problems.

Mathematical Physics

In the Game Design programme, your studies will focus on the development and creation of innovative and experimental games. As a student, You'll receive an overview of the business, culture, and markets surrounding computer games, from AAA to indie games and experimental formats.You'll have classes in the areas of game design, game art and game programming, as well as their interplay with each other. You'll learn how to Master the development process in teams on a project basis. To round out the development of your own games and prototypes, You'll learn about the theoretical aspects of gaming as a medium, receive an overview of the financial perspectives and get insight into the industry at the national and international levels. In interdisciplinary seminars, workshops, and study trips, You'll expand your horizons.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Game design

Mechanical Engineering

The consecutive Master degree to the Bachelor degree in biology offers a wide range of subjects that spans all areas of biology. Applicants from related life science courses are often qualified for the Master course and can apply. An individual selection of three majors or one qualification major and two majors opens up wide fields on the job market in the life sciences and related disciplines. The course is primarily research-oriented. Specialization in at least three of seven possible areas (biochemistry and cell biology, genetics, medical biology, microbiology, ecology, plant sciences, zoology/animal sciences), with one area optionally being able to be expanded into a qualification area.

The language of instruction for this program is German or English. Depending on the focus area you choose, you can study in German, English or both languages

The ongoing miniaturisation in the microelectronics industry leads to systems that are now being referred to as nanoelectronic systems. The Master program in Nanoelectronic system focuses on three key areas; technologies for nanoelectronic systems, design of nanoelectronic systems and applications of nanoelectronic systems. Practical training is also offered in the program in parallel with theoretical concept.

The Master degree program in Management Information is interdisciplinary and internationally oriented. The Bachelor programme in Ecosystem Sciences mediates the necessary basis for research and understanding complex ecosystems. It is research-oriented and focuses on practical training in scientific methods, field and laboratory work, and data analysis and modelling. Ecosystem Sciences
