The term neuroscience covers research into the cognitive abilities of organisms and the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms. The aim of the Master Neuroscience degree is to train neuroscientists who have solid knowledge and skills in the field of molecular and cellular neurobiology. There are two main focus of this program here. On the one hand, this is the methodical training in optical, electrophysiological, neurogenetic, histological and behavioral methods. On the other hand, it is the analysis and interpretation of the data with the help of computer-aided methods, i.e. a deeper understanding of how to deal with and analyze big data.

The Semester contributions totaling 337.39 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester ticket fee 226.14 EUR, Student union fee 94.00 EUR, Constituted student body fee 13.10 EUR, Student sports committee general university sports fee 1.60 EUR and Student aid fund AStA (General Student Committee) fee 2.55 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedicine, molecular medicine, biophysics and bioinformatics or equivalent.
Documents must be certified and translated in English or German
