Course Details

The multidisciplinary, English language Peace and Conflict Studies joint program is offered in cooperation with the University of Kent. Students spend one academic year each in Canterbury and Marburg and, following successful completion, receive an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Philipp University of Marburg and the University of Kent. The program's subject matter focuses on conflicts and peace processes in the face of international change. In the program, students acquire in-depth, specialized knowledge of peace and conflict research and the capability to research and analyze conflicts in national and international contexts, to develop conflict management options, and to personally collaborate on the management of conflicts.
