The Master degree of Physics focuses on astrophysics and astroparticle physics, optical sciences and solid-state physics on the experimental side, and computational and statistical physics, light-matter interaction, quantum gravity, and condensed matter physics on the theoretical side. It aims at Advanced training in selected fields of physics and offers the opportunity for specialization. Students choose from lectures in theoretical physics, astroparticle physics, optics (in cooperation with the Max-Planck-Institute for the Science of Light) and condensed matter physics.

Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in physics or a closely related degree with above average success.
Applicants who have completed their university entrance qualifications or their first degree in English are not required to provide proof of proficiency
