Master

The Master program in Simulation and System Design teaches students the theory and methods of the design and simulation of technical systems and of systems for logistics and production. The program focuses on the application of suitable software packages that make the analysis, development and simulation of such systems possible. In addition to the extension, application and the individual specialisation of technical competence in the area of simulation, students also look at selected topics from business administration, so that they are in a position to assess and explain the business aspects of their decisions.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Simulation and System Design

The Master degree program in Web Engineering provides a systematic and quantifiable approach to the design, construction and implementation of web-based solutions. It teaches not only the necessary knowledge on technologies for web-based and data-centered applications but also enables graduates to deal with fast-moving technology cycles in the sense of life-long-learning.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Physics is an elemental branch of the natural sciences that focuses on the structure of matter and the fundamental interactions between the components of the observable universe. On a scale ranging from macroscopic to submicroscopic, it examines all aspects of the universe, with the primary objective of formulating a small number of general principles that can explain all physical phenomena. The objective of the Master degree programme in Physics is not to lead students to become highly-specialised experts, but rather, to allow them to develop flexibility and scientific self-reliance. Its laws are typically expressed in the language of mathematics. Potential career options range from research and development at universities, research institutions, and in industry to positions in IT and communications firms or in management consultancy.

Physics Fast Track

Heidelberg University

The Master in Finance expands your knowledge in the areas of accounting, taxation, financial law, controlling and financial rating and trains you to become an expert in financial management. The program will sensitize you to current finance-related topics, enabling you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the interrelations between markets.
Course is also available in Fast Track basis. Under fast track basis, semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your Master degree in only 3 semesters with 90 ECTS.
Note: In financial management, you have the opportunity to acquire an international double degree. In addition to the ISM Master degree, the double degree also entitles you to a Master degree from an international partner university. Depending on the partner university, this is even possible during your integrated semester abroad. You can earn two Master degrees in two or two and a half years.

Students from EU and EWR have to pay an enrollment fee of 600 EUR and Non-EU-students have to pay 1500 EUR

English language proficiency can also be proven as follows:  Cambridge (FCE) test score or a degree in English Studies or at least 30 ECTS in an English-language higher education program or a native speaker (will be assessed on a case-by-case basis)

The Bachelor programme in Engineering and Management provides a sound engineering education with modules such as engineering mechanics, material sciences, mechanical design, computer science, mathematics, software development and electrical engineering. The studies also prepare students for international projects and positions. The program in Engineering and Management provides access to a variety of job opportunities such as International product manager, Industrial Engineer, Strategic purchasing manager, etc. This is a Dual study program consisting of academic study and vocational training or intense practical phases.

The program is taught entirely in English language. Sufficient language skills are essential to successfully complete the coursework. English proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS is not required

Informatics

Technical University of Munich

The International Master program in Distributed Systems Engineering focuses on Advanced topics in the area of distributed systems. There is a special emphasis on designing and building software system architectures including network, database, and secure systems. The objective of the Master program is to provide an Advanced training and prepare students for a future career in the very broad and rapidly developing field of distributed systems and their applications.  Career prospects include application developer, a security consultant, or as a compliance consultant.

The aim of the Cognitive Science Master program is to impart in-depth research-oriented cognitive science knowledge. These are created in the competence network of social sciences and computer science as well as biology and neurosciences. The Master program in Technomathematics is offered jointly by the Department of Mathematics at Universität Hamburg and the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg. It has a strong research profile consisting of mathematics (60%), informatics in engineering (20%), and technology (20%).

Master degree programme in Chemistry is research-oriented and geared for a the Master thesis. Intensive research experiences are gained. The Master Program in Polymer Science is research-oriented. Polymer Science

The Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering initially provides a general engineering, mathematical and scientific education to students preparing them for a continuation of the studies in one Master degree with the goal of a doctorate or a job with a strong scientific focus. In addition to internationally applicable construction laws obtained in this program, students also learn about national regulations and standards. Upon completion of this program, graduates have numerous opportunities for employment both nationally and internationally.
