The Master degree program in Water Science and Engineering offers an interdisciplinary and research oriented education right at where water-related engineering and natural sciences meet. Graduates of this program are capable of independently developing strategies and technical solutions for sustainable management of water resources. Their complex area of work is located between the conflicting priorities of efficient use of limited water resources, increasing demands in their protection, handling of hydrometeorological extreme events and impacts of the global change on the water cycle and water-related cycles of materials.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 230.20 EUR must be paid in each semester. It includes, Administrative fee is 70.00 EUR, Student union fee is 77.70 EUR, Student body fee is 7.50 EUR and Guest auditor fee is 75.00 EUR

International Business (Hybrid)

Master program in Process Engineering (MPE) equips students with Advanced knowledge in chemical and thermal process engineering, biotechnology or food technology. Additionally, they receive training in the intercultural competencies that are essential qualifications in process engineering increasingly multicultural environment.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system and the brain, with the aim to unravel their function. Econometrics is a Master program jointly offered by the TU Dortmund University, Ruhr University of Bochum and University of Duisburg-Essen. Econometric methods are increasingly gaining importance in research, business and the public sector. Students of Econometrics are capable of using mathematical models to quantitatively describe and analyze problems that arise in companies, research, government, financial institutions and other organizations. They have an extensive understanding of statistical methods and an in-depth knowledge of central economic causal relationships and the resulting econometric questions.

The Semester contributions totaling 334.06 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Union fee 100.00 EUR, Social Contribution fee 5 EUR, Student union fee 16.00 EUR, VRR semester ticket fee 154.56 EUR and NRW ticket fee 58.50 EUR

Econometrics

In the Data and Computer Sciences Master degree, students deepen the concepts, models and techniques of computer science. In addition to the expansion and specialization of specialist knowledge, they acquire additional scientific skills as part of their studies. Data and Computer Science students deal with planning, modelling, design and implementation of complex systems and processes in software and hardware.
