The University of Lübeck is a research institution with a strong emphasis on the medical sciences and related fields. It is located in Lübeck, Northern Germany. The University of Lübeck was established as a stand-alone research facility in Schleswig-Holstein in 1973.

They provide degree programs in the natural sciences, engineering, computer science, and medicine.
