The Quantitative Economics Program is designed to ensure that students acquire within a strongly research-oriented setting a thorough knowledge of the relevant concepts and methods of economic theory and quantitative methods, and can apply these to empirical analysis. Upon graduating from the MSQ Program, students will be in a position to identify interesting research questions, and address these on their own taking into account the current research frontier.

Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in economics, business or a quantitative discipline involving at least six semesters of study, or a German or international degree in these subjects that is recognized as equivalent.
Proof of mathematical/quantitative knowledge.
Two essays responding to questions asked by GSEFM is required for admission
All documents must be translated to English or German and also notarised
Applicants from China, India and Vietnam require original APS
