Master in Renewable Energy and E Mobility focus on rethinking of tomorrow's energy supply and use requires scientific methods and practical experience in order to successfully solve difficult and complex problems in research and practice. Based on mathematical and technical principles and with the help of comprehensive qualifications, you will acquire theoretical and application-related skills in elective modules. In the Master thesis, you can demonstrate these scientific competencies, skills and abilities.The content of the course is scientifically application-oriented and is intended, among other things, to enable you to do a doctorate at a university.

Minimum requirement for 4 semester program (120 ECTS) with internship includes undergraduate degree with at least 180 ECTS-Points.
Minimum requirement for 4 semester program (120 ECTS) without internship includes undergraduate degree with at least 180 ECTS-Points and internships of at least 12 weeks (internships during undergraduate degree will be credited). If no internship has been completed, this must be provided before you register for your Master thesis.
Additionally, applicants should have knowledge in the following fields (e.g. official course description as provided by the university): Measurement technology of at least 4 hours per week for one semester or 5 ECTS points and Control engineering amounting to at least 4 hours per week for one semester or 5 ECTS points and Fundamentals of electrical engineering amounting to at least 4 hours per week for one semester or 5 ECTS points and Electrical machines amounting to at least 2 hours per week for one semester or 3 ECTS points and the usual mathematical foundations underlying these fields.
At least three of the four modules demonstrating the respective subject knowledge must also be completed with a grade of at least 2.7 or, in the case of other grading system, with a comparable grade (70% of the applied grading scale).
Applicants should have an average mark of the Bachelor degree of at least 1.8. An average mark of 1.9 to 2.3 is subject to a special individual assessment. For this purpose, a letter of motivation in German or English (approximately 500 words) and, if applicable, further proof of the subject-specific and program-specific qualification have to be submitted. Applicants with an average mark of 2.4 or lower will be rejected.
Applicants are exempted from providing language certificate if they successfully completed course of study that was taught fully or partly in English, a secondary school leaving certificate from an international high school or a 10-month stay (or longer) in an anglophone country (with appropriate documentary proof)
Applicants from countries whose official language is English are exempt from language requirement as long as they obtained their university entrance qualification in this country in English as well
Cambridge First Certificate can submitted as a proof of language proficiency
Applicants should submit relevant module descriptions from the Bachelor degree as proof of course-specific requirements
Applicants from India, China or Vietnam need to submit APS certificate
Applicants can submit certified photocopy of the university entrance test in the home country (only for applicants from countries such as Iran, Turkey and Korea) - if applicable
