Course Details

The internationally oriented, English-language continuing education course Master of Science Solar Energy Engineering offers students a broad-based interdisciplinary technical and Scientific training in the field of solar energy production. In close cooperation with institutes inside and outside the university, in particular the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems, the course offers the opportunity to specialize in one or more sub-areas of solar energy generation, such as Solar cell technologies, photovoltaic systems, solar thermal energy, material and cell characterization or System integration and power grids. The program also offers great career opportunities for graduates. The course duration differs for the credit points offered; for 90 ECTS credits the duration is 5 semester and for the 120 ECTS credits the duration is 7 semester.
