Master of Science in Sports, Exercise and Human Performance is a specialized Master program that is characterized by Its strong research orientation. A special feature of the Master program is the pronounced method orientation and orientation to the international state of research as well as the teaching of job-specific soft skills; however, there are no practical sports components. The course aims to enable students to independently make scientifically sound decisions in research-oriented and research-related areas of activity in the areas of knowledge generation, diagnostics, program planning and evaluation.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes a relevant course of study with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters, which has been successfully completed with a Bachelor of Science or a comparable professional qualification, an examination in statistics (including Advanced statistics) and/or experimental methodology (a total of at least 10 CP), an examination in biology, especially in sports and/or biomechanics and/or movement science (at least 5 points), an examination in psychology, especially sports psychology and/or neuroscience, especially in sports (at least 5 CP).

The Master degree is intended as a postgraduate degree with 120 credit points for students who have completed a Bachelor degree that has taught the natural, behavioral and medical aspects of sport and human movement as well as basic methodological knowledge and skills in experimental research.
