The Master programme ERM has an applied orientation. It is a consecutive course that follows the Environmental and Resource Management Bachelor degree offered by the BTU Cottbus - Senftenberg and is also suitable as a further qualification for graduates of other relevant Bachelor programmes

The course serves to broaden and deepen professional knowledge and management skills in the focus area of integrated environmental and resource protection. Graduates will be able to assess and design technological  economic and infrastructure processes with the objective of sustainable production  planning and material flow management.

All applicants with a German higher education entrance qualification can apply directly to the myBTU portal for their desired course of study programme. This applied also for students who are or were already enrolled at one of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg locations and would like to apply for a Bachelor's study programme or a change of study programme.

Students who received their last entrance qualification abroad and wish to apply for a Bachelor's programme have to apply via My assist.

Applicants with a higher education entrance qualification from Australia  Canada  Ireland  New Zealand  Great Britain incl. Northern Ireland or the United States of American do not have to submit a separate proof of English language skills

The University of Siegen is a public research university with its headquarters in Siegen, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is a member of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, an association of Germany's top research universities. 1972 saw the founding of the university.

The Weidenau neighborhood on Siegen's northeastern side is home to the majority of the university buildings. The Adolf-Reichwein-Straße campus in Haardter Berg has amenities like the largest lecture rooms, the central canteen, the central library, as well as a portion of the center for information and media technology.

It has 5 faculties, 51 study courses, a unique study concept in the School of Arts and Humanities with three study models, as well as 9 lecture courses (after school forms, Bachelor / Master), broken down into 138 part-study courses, and 17,659 students (winter term 2021/2022) and 3,495 Freshmen (2021/2022).

Offerings over the semester include high ropes courses, intercultural training, and tours to adjacent cities.
