The (Research) Master degree programme in Quantitative Economics (QE) is organized jointly by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and the Center for Mathematical Economics (IMW). In the Master program Expanded media Creating media experiences that have an impact on users' real lives and can bring about real changes is what the English-language Master programme 'Expanded Media' is all about. The focus of such new  transmedia media architectures is the personal experience: users want to feel personally involved and try to draw personal benefits for their lives from the media experience. In international teams  students develop media offerings that explore this potential. In interdisciplinary media productions  they combine real and media worlds of experience and develop a new media language based on the user/audience experience. Expanded Media

The B.A. in Animation and Game encompasses character design and storytelling  2D and 3D animation  game development and programming. Over seven semesters  students work in a practical and interdisciplinary way to acquire the wide range of technical  conceptual and design skills needed for the development and production of animated films  series and games. Professional project management facilitates team-based working on this course  which is taught mainly in English.

Animation and Game

The Master program focuses on the study of cultural modernity in Language and Literature as well as Culture  Art  Textiles  Media and Business Studies at the interfaces of the Baltic  North Sea and North Atlantic zones. Credits are gained by research-oriented  postgraduate study of the culture  literature  language and visual media (arts  fashion  film) of German  Scandinavian and English-speaking Atlantic countries. KSM offers the only postgraduate study program in Europe with this research constellation.
