The Master in Data Science will qualify students to analyse big data efficiently and to create systems/solutions for Machine Learning. Therefore they will be all set for future industrial demands. The program Urban design revitalization historic cities districts focus of development of historic cities in Europe and in the MENA region is until today one of the most important challenges for sustainable urban development. A vivid inner city with a historic core shapes the image and the identity of the city and is the catalyst for developments in the whole town. The benefit of renewal and revitalization of inner city areas is never reduced just to the inhabitants and stakeholders of a certain quarter  but extends into surrounding areas and to the town as a whole. Accordingly  in urban development nothing is more sustainable than a vital inner city. This thesis is correct for both shrinking cities in Germany and metropolitan areas in the MENA region. Rehabilitation processes require an integrated approach  finally fixed in the urban form  and guidelines that guarantee stability and continuity for all further development.

The Master study programme Materials Science and Engineering offers students a specialised scientific education at a high level and with a research-based focus. The programme deals with the synthesis, characterisation and processing of all functional classes of materials, for example materials for energy generation, biomaterials, thermoelectronics, semiconductors, carbon fibres and organic light-emitting diodes (OLED). During the standard period of study of four semesters, Master students acquire in-depth knowledge in the core areas of materials science, materials physics and materials engineering.

Automotive, avionics and mechanical systems are important application areas for most modern industries. The design of embedded control units in these areas relies on methods of computer science and engineering. The Brand Management Master combines business management knowledge with different focal points, which qualify for activities in marketing, trade, purchasing or sales in the luxury and consumer goods industry.
