The Master degree in Media and Communication Management provides you with in-depth knowledge of media management, marketing and public relations. You will learn relevant models and processes to manage information in a targeted manner, to work cross-medially and to assume responsibility as a manager in this rapidly changing environment.


Once you've filled in and submitted the application form, our student advisory service contacts you and invites you to a personal interview., We carefully check that your documents are complete and that you meet the admission requirements. If any documents are missing, our student advisory service contacts you by phone or email., We send you a study contract. Sign it and send it back. When we receive the contract, you are enrolled with us. Your studies can begin.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Media and communication management

Macromedia University of Applied Sciences

The Bachelor programme in Applied Mechatronic Systems will allow students to gain a clear understanding of the relevant disciplines of mechatronics, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. Apart from brushing up necessary skills in mathematics, physics, and statistics, students get to deepen their programming, intercultural and communication skills. students will be able to design complete solutions for electromechanical systems and know how to implement the associated control systems, e.g. by using microcontrollers. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to learn more about exciting emerging fields such as automotive mechatronics, robotics, machine learning and smart manufacturing.

EU applicants have to pay 500 EUR and non-EU applicants have to pay 900 EUR as enrollment fee

Linguaskill with 176 - 184 (CES); TOEIC levels of Listening/Reading 785, Speaking 160, Writing 150 and TOEFL scores of 87 ibt for direct recording and 79-86 ibt with additional agreement are accepted as proof of language requirement

Applied Mechatronic Systems (Berlin)

The course in International Management provides general business management modules combined with the attractive benefits of an international orientation. Students can specialise in their major in different management functions amongst others marketing and sales, digital business or controlling and finance. After graduation, students get job offers such Global Supply Chain Manager, Product Manager, International, Controller, Financial Controller, Foreign Sales Representative, Sales Manager (international), International, Marketing Manager, Business Development Director, etc.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

IELTS, Cambridge FCE, Cambridge ESOL with Level 1, MOTET,  Unicert II, LCCI with Level 3, PTE Academic with Level B2 and First study course in English is accepted as proof of language proficiency

The Master in Global Energy Transition and Governance aims to give a deep understanding of the complexity of the current energy transformations in Europe and worldwide. With Its unique, multidisciplinary approach, the programme analyses the links between the different levels of energy governance, from an international to a local level, offering problem-focused learning at the crossroads of theory and practice. Students gain a strong academic background and are prepared for the job market through a variety of trainings in professional and practical skills.

CIFE (the International Centre for European Training)

The Mainz University of Applied Sciences, sometimes known as Hochschule Mainz, is a German institution of higher learning that was established in 1971. The School of Technology, the School of Design, and the School of Business are the three faculties that make up the University of Applied Sciences Mainz. The short study times, international course focus, and the university's practical orientation are shared characteristics of all academic subjects.

It employs 430 people and has 170 professors in addition to 5,700 pupils. The departments of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geoinformatics, and Surveying are included in the faculty of the School of Engineering. The departments of Communication Design, Media Design/Time-Based Media, and Interior Architecture are included in the faculty for the School of Design.

Currently, the library is spread out between Campus and Holzstraße. Each faculty located at these places has access to the media through the libraries there: economics is located at Campus, while engineering and design is located at Holzstraße.

The University of Applied Sciences library offer books, periodicals, electronic resources, and videos for every subject area. Additionally, it provides general reference books, weekly and daily newspapers, etc. Everyone generally has free access to the inventory.

There is also an AStA at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The acting executive board of the (constituted) student body at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences is the General Students' Committee, also known as AStA (German: Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss). Consequently, it is regarded as the student body government and the student representation body.
